China: Relationships and Understanding.

Churches in China are among the fastest growing in the world today. The China Christian Council estimates that three new Protestant churches or meeting points are opened every two days. Sanctuaries are so packed that many Christians arrive hours early just to get a seat. There are 18 Protestant theological seminaries and Bible colleges in China that are graduating a new generation of clergy and full-time church workers. Tens of millions of Bibles have been printed in China and distributed by the China Christian Council to all regions on the mainland.

For those seeking greater understanding and further relationships with churches in China, the United Methodist China Program offers a range of resources to help improve understanding between China and ourselves.
