This Glossary, created by the Interfaith Alliance, gives brief descriptions of the major holidays and festivals of all major world religions. Dates are not included.

Interfaith Calendar (website will open in a new browser window)

The online Interfaith Calendar provides a list of sacred dates by year or by religion. Site is managed by Morgen Krueger Ltd., an "Internet based information service with a focus on Interfaith enterprises."

Festivals of India (website will open in a new browser window)

Simple explanations of Hindu festivals in India are provided. The site is designed as a distance education site of Indian heritage organized by The Association of Grandparents of Indian Immigrants (AGII).

Multifaith Calendar from Unity Arts (website will open in a new browser window)

The Multifaith Calendar (available for purchase at $11.95 U.S.) arranges each month's festivals chronologically by religion. A name and symbol identifies each festival and its description in the
