Recovery Month
The United Methodist Special Program on Substance Abuse and Related Violence (SPSARV) is launching a year-long educational campaign to highlight the complex issues that surround its concerns within both church and society. This campaign begins with a five-part series of online articles during September, the 19th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month in the United States.
Join the Voices for Recovery: Real People, Real Recovery is the theme for the September 2008 observation of National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. It affirms SPSARV's mission, which is global rather than national in scope.
